Sorry about attacking your Dr. P, but it is really bad for you, especially because it probably has high fructose corn syrup- which really is different from sugar. Not to say sugar is "good"- but it's metabolized in a safer way in the body. At least sugar will trigger feelings of fullness- HFCs won't. Weird crap- HFCs

FWIW, the same debate took place when Alexander Hamilton decided to tax whiskey back in the 1790s. In fact, some people in Pennsylvania felt strongly enough about the issue that they went to war over it.

The Whiskey Insurrection, was a popular uprising that had its beginnings in 1793-94 and culminated in an insurrection in 1797 in the locality of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania[1], in the Monongahela Valley. During George Washington's presidency, the government decided to tax whiskey in order to pay off the national debt. This infuriated the citizenry and led to the Whiskey Rebellion.

Before you know it, socialists like the Dear Leader will consider hiring government work-out specialists, and require everyone in America to muster and do calisthenics every morning. Then they'll tax citizens based on body fat percentage.

I wonder what the workout uniform will look like?
