But how Panetta can stay on is an open question.

Pelosi will meet with Panetta and his folk to repeat that she wasn't really talking about them, but about Bush, Cheney and Rumsfeld and maybe even Halliburton. Can't we get along? <g>

I watched that also, with some interest. I had seen her take the mike from him a few days ago. Watched all the bobble head auto CEO's, which kind of made me ill.

He surprised me with the peck on the cheek.

Don't you love when the camera cuts away to Pelosi so we can see her adoringly mouth "thank you, president Obama" when he says something nice about her or the Senate.
