Legality does not stop the intrinsic hate. There maybe a better attitude for Blacks but there is still an element who would rather lynch them to a tree. I hope future generations are not taught the indifference and hate that has been part of my generation. I remember my parents who talked about known gay men in my home town. Even the woman Doctor who climbed the stairs when I was a child to treat whatever I had.... (those days Doctors came to the house ) was an object of ridicule. It is inbred. That is what has to change. One thing that has intrigued me during my tenure here on earth is how many parents who were so strongly anti gay found out their own children were. Another one of my crusades as I had two lovely,intelligent young men kill themselves when I was their counselor. I still have them in my heart and memory. Such a waste from bigotry and misunderstanding.
