Governors of NY and NJ in the same pickle as CA gov but have maneuver room to get things thru and still be able to become electable by november. In CA folks vote against taxes without though of consequences. I hate taxes too, but sometimes they cant be avoided. States and localities cant borrow and spend and must balance budgets. Direct democracy creates delusional results. What do you think about splitting the state in half?
