Win, FPG and his buddies at AMD like to throw darts at anti-Intel posters.

We know what you meant to say.

AMDers think that is a much more effective competitive action than producing better products and the infrastructure to go with them. The silly Euro flag on AMD's home page speaks volumes on what AMD and its childish followers think is effective competition.

I hadn't noticed the silly Euro flag. What is wrong with a little international symbol. AMD sell and manufactures in Europe. Does it bother you that they are HQed in Austin and incorporated in Philadelphia?

Intel believes that better, faster and cheaper technology is the winning approach.

I wonder why that didn't work for AMD, at the time in question, when they had clearly superior products?

Unfortunately, customers in the marketplace prefer the Intel approach.

I think we agree. The key is Market Place. That is where Sellers and Buyers negotiate openly and freely. It is this freedom that fosters diversity. Freedom without a little diversity has a hollow ring to it.

Freedom does not include the right to twist the arms of others.
