Absolutely, we have. It's not unprecedented, though. I do find it alarming, but I also believe that some of the things Obama is doing, particularly in the renewable energy space, will create a massive new engine of wealth for this country, which will help us grow our way out of it, just as we did after WWII. If I'm wrong, then God help us, because I don't see any other major growth area for this country besides renewable energy that is massive enough to move the needle for our large economy and large debt.
