I think what Jeff Macke was trying to say was that all the news about the economy was spin and fluff, the statistics are cooked, and that things are bad, and CNBC should stop playing this pretend game.

Gotta admit that was one of the most bizarre spectacles I've seen on live TV in a long time. Hope Baldy dries out or adjusts his meds or whatever he needs to do. He was the only reasonable guy on Fast Money!<NG>

Macke was brilliant. CNBC takes financial news and makes
it incoherent by, at best, deliberately misleading you.
(No matter what - it's buying opportunity!)

Macke, by being incoherent, spoke truth to power.
