Huh. I beg to differ. The American economy is as well or better off now than at any time in the past 50 years. There will be no market crash until inflation and unemployment are much higher. Back up your trucks, buy here. Just my 2c, but it's the right 2c, so you may as well listen.

Perhaps the selling was enough to kick off a downward spiral. I think we are seeing the media likes it. And despite my recent losses, I like it too. It means we might have a chance of reasonable valuations soon.

I did sell my small holdings in Vangaurd Explorer (down $4,30) and Nicholas Funds (down $4.89) over the past few weeks, so I can gloat that I made several correct choices. (not quite as correct as yourself- I sold my lone puts Thursday :)

I want to be sure to catch the kicker on the upside should it happen.
