The nautilus shaft is a sumbmersible rover, with pumps, a surge tank density control at the top, with computer power adjustment for various booster pumps, as well as the cutter head and rover motor. Add in a portion of the ship with its processing equipment. I don't know how much concentration they do shipboard but I imagine it is to smelter feed i.e. 3 to 4 times. That means they fill up with perhaps 750 tons of con per day. They need a 20,000 ton ship to do one month of processing. Don't actually know what short of capacity they have.

It works on paper.
