I don't know. I haven't read the book, nor heard him on the radio. I suspect his book is so popular because of the deep divisiveness Team Obama has ushered in.

It appears Obama is willing to bow to Dictators, and talk to every terrorist organization on the planet in order to "find common ground", but he won't reach out to conservatives and find common ground with his own countrymen.

Continuing the divisiveness and looking back to attack Bush/Cheney will only add to the problem.

Here's another good example from the AP today. It appears he only wants to finger point when he's cherry-picking classified information which support his position. Now he wants to end the important dialogue on national security, "punish" those political enemies he disagrees with and not investigate the matter in a open honest way. What happened to transparancy?

Obama still opposes 'truth commission'

WASHINGTON (AP) — Despite calls in Congress for an independent "truth commission" to look into the interrogation policies of President George W. Bush's administration, President Barack Obama is again arguing against that idea.

Obama says that kind of finger-pointing can distract the nation's leaders from the challenges ahead. He says officials need to "focus on the future."

In his Thursday speech at the National Archives, Obama said there are already inquiries in Congress into the harsh interrogation techniques that many have called torture. Obama said the Justice Department and the courts can punish any violation of the laws.
