If people are getting unhappier with where we are going, they have an odd way of showing it - gallup.com So far Obama has peeled off about 20% of the "not satisfied" crowd in the space of a few months. In 6-12 months, he will either lose them back if his policies don't work, or we will see another 20-30% move into the "satisfied" camp, at which point I'd say the next couple of elections are foregone conclusions. Anyone on the right who is trying to prepare the party for the second contingency is just getting shouted down by the purists for now. Not a good way to reinvent an organization.
