That is EXACTLY how American bankruptcy law is designed.

Majority approval of the creditors (here we have over 94% approval), with the Judge's approval --- and ESPECIALLY WHEN massive amounts of new money are required to make sure the patient can survive long enough to be restructured and exit bankruptcy protection --- is exactly what the law asks for.

Chapter 11 bankruptcy is designed to RESTRUCTURE the enterprise so that it sheds it's debt and emerges as a viable, on-going business. All other goals are *secondary* to that primary purpose.
