The mythical person you invented would be responsible for his own misfortune, or fortune in some folks eyes.

And couldn't find your comment about 100% taxs for a 'grandparent's estate'

I think the State and/or Federal Government has ZERO right to any Estate money or items. PERIOD!

EVERY thing in someone's Estate has been taxed when the person earned the money, then taxed with the item was purchased, etc etc etc.

The person who had items or money could have lit a bonfire in the middle of the street to prevent any government to take a thing or to tax a single thing.

Or the person could buy goods of any sort, and given all of it to whomever they wished. The Government has NO RIGHT to it at all, IMO.

I consider that kind of "tax" to be theft.
