What is scary is that most Americans do not appreciate how our weakness almost lost that war and in fact allowed the enemy to think they could beat us, hence they attacked. You can tell that history is not appreciated since too many want our weakness today. "Weakness is provocative" as Don Rumsfeld said. But the whole Left does not believe this and has innoculated themselves against ever figuring it out, since they project their own feelings onto the rest of the world.
