Prop 13 passed 31 yrs ago. You'd think a whole lot of those folks eligible for the discount would have either died or moved on?

If that is correct, revenues from prop taxes have to have increased significantly over the years.

And if that is correct, the state of Cali is taking in a lot of dough through prop taxes.

And a federal bailout (followed by New York and others) will accelerate the long-run liberal agenda of greater centralization of political control over the states.

I remain firmly convinced Obama's agenda is all about getting control.

Das Schade is that he is a socialist. His intent is to control everything.
