One thing Cheney has accomplished is this. He has put Americans on notice that we did not have another attack since 9/11 on his watch, and if one happens during the Obama Administration, it will be a vindication that Cheney's methods worked. I don't agree with that, but I think most Americans will look at it that way, if that comes to pass. Let's just cross our fingers and hope that none of the cockroaches get past our Homeland Security forces.
