SmoothSail....Don't worry ...Pretty much this thread is a group of friends, some 3D and some cyber...We all have days where we have to just 'say what we're thinking'...and that includes the things that go on each day that will effect us. That could include things that happen in our State Capitols, and/or in DC, the neverending pit of balderdash, creepy crawlies, bah humbug, as well as some very good "stuff" as well.

I've always envisioned SI to be a village that is all over America...with various cities, towns, and burgs...in each of those places, there are the old fashioned salons of yesteryear where we can visit anytime day or night. Some places are all smokey and dark....some are totally about politics, some are arty/crafty, some are for jokes only, and some are like this one...a great place to just talk to folks all over the country, when they happen by.

Don't know if the rest of the folks see that in their minds eye...

We've always cared about everyone's joys and sorrows, as well as supported each other when things hit a rough patch....Some days, we just have to say dagnabbit about whatever just happened, and other days are joyous....I told ManyMoose sometime ago those days for me are like today....the days where you just can't wait to be outside, just to smell the clean air and enjoy the newly cut grass, or plant some posies, play with the doggies or kitties, or gasp....even find a few minutes to read a book or say Hi to our cyber friends....

Maybe other folks can share their own thoughts as to what GITS has added to their own life....
