Obama won't of course, explain that. He can't. He'd much rather blather on with platitudes than get into that sticky wicket.

merely acknowledging use of water boarding and incarceration at Gitmo "created terrorists", how does President Obama explain the June 25, 1996 bombing of the Khobar Towers, February 26, 1993 bombing of the WTC, 1983 U.S. Embassy bombing in Beirut, October 12, 2000 bombing of the U.S.S. Cole?

I originally included a question like that, then realized that Obama didn't mention anything like that in the speech. My test was for the reporters to see whether there was any substance to the speech, which there was not.

Your question is the one they need to pose to Obama. But they won't because they seem to be fearful of this reaction:
