Vi, been trying to figure out where the smart money is going. Not little retail investors, but big players: sovereign funds, hedge funds, pension funds.

With interest rates so low, there's carry trade everywhere; traders who can borrow and leverage have it made. Prices are ahead of fundamentals, but it doesn't seem to matter.

Flows into gold are huge and accelerating; ditto oils. In June many funds will rebalance. Don't know what the effect will be but am guessing they'll accelerate buying.

The market's split: hedging and buying. Two bubbles for the price of one?

Jim
