Definitely buy...how can they let a bank with "'merika" in their name, fail?

General Electric is a no-brainer...Obamaba and Immelt are tight.

"Is BAC on the conviction buy or conviction sell list at GS?"

It's on both - the sell side analysts have one set of trading programs for the GS computers,
and the buy side analysts have another set of algorithms.

The proprietary trading department doesn't care - they just make sure they get the tip-off memo the night before
it's released publicly, so that they can make the necessary tweeks in the computer programs, and to be sure
the computers don't malfunction at the open when there is a flurry of trades.
