because after they are named best beach a million more people go there. That's one of the criteria how empty the beach is.

Ocracoke Island was killed by that ranking and it brought in some greens from around the country who sued to keep cars off the beach

Makes you wonder how the best beach can change every year...

He 'retires' the winner. But you are right.... and I've been to Hawaii and there isn't a beach in Florida that can compete with some there.
