Hey Daddy:

Hangin' on to my 11 long positions in oil drillers/service, although I have had to change my pants a few times. This is remarkable!

No fundamentals have changed, as I read. Tighten the belt, and hang on. It s**ks though.

Well, like everyone else, I got smacked around good yesterday. Short term, this does suck. However, mid and long term, this is the best thing that could have happened. In order for the drilling earnings story to unfold in the best way possible, we need a general market environment that is not overvalued, a market where everyone isn't constantly yammering about a need for a correction. Well, the correction has arrived.

Many of my stocks are still higher than they were two weeks ago, and virtually all are higher than they were two months ago.

Still feel we are in the Number 1 sector, as measured by earnings growth and earnings dependability. This story will play out very well.

Safe Trading
