Do you want a 100% estate tax?

Cancel the lotteries and Powerball?

Prohibit malpractice awards?

>>And after all that, I look around at the people I spend my time with and I see that there is way too much of a sense of entitlement. No one deserves anything that they haven't worked for. That's what's fair. If we as a society want to come together and provide a safety net, then lets do that, but lets make darn sure we can afford it.>>

Here is the simple answer to the conservative "Horatio alger" nonsense. People who get good educations sledom use any welfare.

Those who don't get a chance to develop their minds for any reason often don't know how to be productive and they sort of run from life.

And as my dear old mom used to say they are still not living high on the hog. They live their lifes struggling.

You educate those people and you will not see them taking welfare. That is all you have to do. That should be job one.

In science they call this knowledge directed perception i.e. you cannot see what you do not understand.

None of my friends are on wlefare because they are all educated and know how to get work.
