I was also at the demo. Everthing was very classy although the presentation could have used a little pizzaz. Frank did the whole presentation on a big easel with a green magic marker.

The new alliance is a company called Intrine Communications. They are an 80 mil company out of California that sets up Virtual Offices. The DVG will help them lower their distribution costs and be able to sell their product more competatitly. I cornered the CEO of Intrine and talked a bit about their alliance but he didn't have too much to say. His name is Dana Topping. There located in Milpitas California. 1-408-383-9200. His card shows a site at Intrine.com but I haven't checked it out yet. This may have been a flash in the pan. A great future reference but I'm unsure how a partnership would work.

There was also a couple of Worldcom reps lingering around and at least 3 different monthly rags. I cornered one of the guys from Teleconnect Magazine after the demo and asked him a bunch of questions. I'm fairly competant but this guy blew me away. I tried to hit him up with some "bottom line" stuff regarding competition and he said he was impressed with the product. He stated they would like to get a couple evaluation units but Frank and Co. said they were in short supply. THIS IS THE GUY WE NEED TO IMPRESS. These eval units should be built and shipped at whatever the cost. If anyone will spread the word - it's the trade rags!! He said they are diong a 25 company comparison on IP Telephony products in the November issue which should be out in early Nov. His name was Russell Kahan. Reach him at 1-212-691-8215 X245 or Email at russk@teleconnect.com.

All in all I remain confident we are sitting in a great position right now. Weather we become an ISP. a telco or a supplier of a ammunition. Who cares!! As long as the $$$$ keeps rolling in!

Also new press release regarding FNET-the newest phone comapny to hit the streets. I didn't read the release until I was on the train coming home. It looks great. Hardly mentioned FTEL. Spoke mostly of FNET so it may or may not show up on the newswires where we would like to see it. Hope someone finds it and blasts it all over the place.

Sorry for the typo's and grammar problem. Ive been up about 18 hours and I have to go to bed soon so I can get up and head back into that miserable city again on Tuesday. I hope the street cleaners cleaned up all the dead broker bodies!

Until next time...........

Pat
