Let's see, editor of the Harvard Law Review and instructor at a top law school so he knows his law; extensive experience living overseas and other cultures; ten years in legislative bodies dealing with all the major issues a president confronts, at the state and federal level; and a two-year campaign that raised more money and drew more popular support than any other presidential campaign in history in terms of raw numbers. Running against one of the stronger Democratic party rivals in modern history and winning. Oh yeah, best-selling author too.

Yeah, I think that's enough to make a good start for a young president. He didn't have the deep resume some other presidents had, but as we have discussed here before, the resume often had little to do with success once in office. And he has accomplished more in his first three months in office than many president in their first year or more. He gets things done.

K, on the other hand, pronounces on the "correct" US foreign policies for regions all over the globe that appear to exist to him only in print and on video screens. It's just an abstract game for Beltway types like that. The sum total of his experience inside government is, "During the presidential campaign of 1980, Krauthammer served as a speech writer to Vice President Walter Mondale." Which is not even a government position, and certainly not a foreign policy job.

>>And Obama has been there and accomplished much before running for President?<<

Q -

Has Obama claimed that he knows how to solve the problems of the world? I don't think so.
