There are so many real-world cases we could talk about, where the hate is crystal clear, that there's really no need to come up with your own unlikely hypotheticals.


When you make laws it's absolutely necessary to think them up to try and avoid the unintended consequences. To brush them away with short term agenda driven thinking is childish.

Actually that's an easy hypothetical. The KKK marcher being attacked is definitely a hate crime- and it's a no brainer.
