My first reaction was to observe that I didn't notice that the site was using the calendar year. True, but the deficit number is high. The real fiscal year deficit (OnBudget number plus interest paid to Trust Funds) through April is about 984 billion. The real deficit though December was just over 600 billion. The difference isn't close to the indicated 710 billion. Larry
