I am not here in a contest. I am here to teach the basics.

There are Countries, Nations and States. They are three different entities.

Nation is people, who born, grow up, marry, making babies, and die.

They create an entity called the state. Which is a mechanism to live in society. Gurantee of private property. Cerate a family, to gurantee that wealth is passed to next generation agglutinate power to fight off the others.

To finance the nation-state, they create a thing called a country, which has borders, within which they could tax people that lived inside it.

When you go and try to tax the guys beyond your borders there are things called wars.

When across the river the other guys are doing better than you do, you go and try to rob them also causing these events called wars.

Once all the basic tenets are understood then, an donly then, we cut for today.

The problem academics is the stake they have in what they have learned. They've put so much effort, time and money on that body of knowledge they have got, that they are terrified with the prospects that it becomes outdated or supplanted by another body of knowledge.

Therefore they must do two things -at all times- be sure about they know is accepted as truth.

Secod keep testing that against other mouthpieces' (caramba! I start using your jargon!- knowledge.

Laymen, like me, learned everyhitng the cheapest way, thus if what I know is wrong, I dump it, and I lose little.
