China will be net coal importer this year as prices fall

Bloomberg citing Mr Jiang Zhimin the secretary general of China National Coal Association as saying that, China will likely be a net coal importer this year as prices of the fuel fall.

He, without giving details, said that the government is also studying building emergency stockpiles of coal at mines or ports.
