I didn't either. I reacted to the exchange about Lomborg that implied that Lomborg could not possibly recognize man-made global warming since he discounts the weight of one of its causes. Compounded by the overt assertion that the greenhouse gasses and global warming are the same thing. Which they clearly are not.

But the most significant way in which humans contribute to global warming is in the production of greenhouse gases.

I don't see how you can call it "more precise." It may be practical to be less precise given that human-produced greenhouse gasses are the only factor we can potentially do anything about so that's where the politics are focused. But precision calls for the recognition that it's not the only factor, ergo not the same thing.
