DOW 6000? I guess we bearded and smoothchin ones have to wait till the Dow settles around 6000/6500.If that holds, that will,in my opinion, be the next growth base.I do not think that an early rebound will stick. Many who did not get out of the market last week, will do so when prices go up a bit. It won't be disastrous to bring feet and stocks back to earth. And seasoned investors, who have prudently built cash, will be able to pick up good stocks at reasonable cost,as usual. Microsoft will be in there.
By the way,can you imagine that the money Bill Gates lost Monday would pay for every expense of a good sized family for 100 years..and more.
