About dental techs..

This is another example of the kind of legal monopoly that I hate. The Dentists in all the states have laws passed that force techs to work for Dentists. In a free enterprise situation, they could work on their own and the outcome would be much better overall dental care, especially for the poor.

Imagine being able to drop your kid off for a cleaning and checkup while shopping at Wal Mart for 1/3 of the present fee. And then getting advice as to what they needed. Compare this with the present appointment, time spent, cost, and restricted choice of the system we use now. "But nooooooo!"
