Talking heads try to answer deep questions posed to them by smart, deep-thinking reporters: "Should the small investor panic?" After some carefull consideration, experts usually give the unexpected advice: "Small investors should not panic."

Nikkei - apparently, they have trading curbs on individual stocks - that explains why the drops are slow. That's still second largest market around, and can supply/drain lots a liquidity.

From where I sit, seems REIT funds showed highest relative strength recenly. They still have ~ 5% dividend yield.
