Gutman: There won't be any cash flow for BGO for a long period of time. 2 years for the final study. 6.5 years payback. 1.5 years securing financing construction etc. 10 years they will see their cash flow. There are way too many opportunities than to wait for 10 years for a company like Bema. This is a great deal for Placer Dome. Not much risk.

If CC generates $300 million a year in cash after operating expenses, Placer doesn't get all of this cash flow until they have recovered their investment. That's the scenario Feline posted. John Anderson is in New York all week with the Placer people but I intend to find out the distinctions between the senior debt and subordinated debt that Placer will arrange and guarantee to see how that affects the split of cash that CC will throw off.

Terry
