kemble, do whatever it takes to have peace,, that's key. i will say this... I sold allot of shares before the 87 crash and the 90 crash. every dollar I took out of market was a mistake <gg> adjusted for splits I pulled 5000 shares cpq in 1987 and pulled out 45000 shares of cpq in 1990..all this was before the crashes.... now if I would have put it back into cpq okay..but I put it in stuff that didn't gain as much as cpq. I think I'll just keep my puts and stk and watch this one. anyway, maybe you can sell some of the weak stuff, and buy prot. puts on dell. it's not a bear market in technology...earnings will be great next yr.

Hi Kemble: After talking to broker all is calm at the office, lines and access are working, not particularily busy. He retains total confidence in Dell, advises 12 month outlook. In regard to a crash, investors outlook remains incredibly positive in USA, with business as usual. I remain totally aginst stop losses to try to protect Dell gains, for example when it opened around 71 this morning she is all gone, and it is now back up to 79 . I've been there in the past, done that,don't want any part of it. To avoid a potential of having to sell Dell, I have gone to the puts at a price between 1/2 and $4, and will probably henceforth keep a few of those around(protection only) Good luck, and stay with it .
