OT: Interesting...how much more are they worth? Years ago I actually requested some and my bank got them for me with no premium.

How big is that premium now?

I tried to get a $1,000 bill in 1968 to repay my father some money I owed him. Was ordered specially from a Federal Reserve bank but never delivered. I had to use $100 bills.

EDIT: I had the money I owed sealed in a tin can and mailed registered insured.

There is a 500 Euro denomination bill, and with Euro worth around $1.30, that's about % 650.
