Randy... great CONSERVATIVE analysis... BUT, don't forget that FNET is going to buy most of the equipment from FTEL... add that to the bottom line! (I would, except I have no way of knowing what the $$ amount would be... 1/2 of $120 million???? That would add another $4 per share).

Yea I thought of that but that would mean the IPO would only raise 48 Mill. Conservative indeed. GGG

Here's another thought: If investors continue to flee from higher-priced (over-priced?) securities, they will need some place to put their money where they feel like they have a better chance for a substantial and quicker gain. They will look for high quality smaller companies right on the verge of breaking through to the big time. Can you think of any company that might fit that description? :) I think it's quite possible that that problems in the bigger markets could actually help the stocks of companies such as FTEL.

This is a common occurance towards the end of a big bull run.

All, Got back from the demo, Can you hear a pin drop. Well I was impressed the quality of the phone calls. called my wife and it was as clear as it can get. One thing I noticed when there is no talking no noise at all.
Called my Dad, he's the one I called with Idt. Says were are you ? NY . what are you doing in NY, Working? no meeting for the voice gatway with Franklin, Oh how is it going. Good i tell him were talking over the internet NOW. WOW I can't tell the difference, not anything like that other call, were you sounded like you talked out of a Hole.

History in the making!!! I think So. One Thing that I didn't realize is that there will not be one single partner but many. and some of those will be large data networks that have capacity for hooking the tempest some phone lines and WALA you have a phone company.

Like tom told me we don't need to rewire the world there is more than enough lines there NOW.
one company that was not mentioned by name has the capacity for 800 POP's worldwide and we MAY BE signig them SOON
Today is the birth of a new type of Phone company. not the traditional type but one made up of many parts as in many parts. Data networks, ISP's, intranets, frame relay. etc
If i think of more I'll Post. But can't get over the Data network Angle, makes since. companies like UUnet, bbn come to mind
