"Do you think McCain lost because he was too conservative, too moderate, or simply had to deal with his Palin choice? Do you ascribe any blame to him at all for the way he mishandled his campaign?" McCain lost because he could not articulate a reason why. Add that to the gentleman John aspect of his campaign where he did not go after key issues the R Wright. The price we are paying for his poor performance is huge.

How did you feel about Dan Quayle? Did you think he was a dumb bell? I do. What has he done since being VP? Ford was politically very wise. Pardoning Nixon was an act of statesmanship. Edwards is a sleaze. Do you ascribe any blame to him at all for the way he mishandled his campaign? Of course, picking Palin with only a cursory vetting was beyond stupid. But he is not dumb, and he paid for it. He believes that his knee jerk reactions are inspired.

I wonder if you would have been as biased against Obama had the media savaged him the way they savaged Palin? Some people can't think for themselves. They see a ten second blurb on TV and that is the extent of their knowledge. This guy used the word shop-a-holic to describe Palin. The clothes were bought for her - no say in what was purchased. She had never even been in a Nordstrom. But the MSM painted her as some crazed shopper and the sheep believed it.
