If there were large numbers of Americans giving up their citizenship, the liberal media would trumpet it. The 'liberal' media is owned by wingers. They control the content. "the myth of God's country". Its precisely because liberals hate that idea that I can say large number of Americans giving up their citizenship would get wide exposure if there were such numbers. It has always been a myth...that this is God's country. Wingers have been spinning that myth for years with the support of Hollywood. Yes, the studios are owned by conservatives as well. Unfortunately, reality is starting to catchup to the myth.
