There isn't a danger they'll ESCAPE from supermax prisons. The danger is a liberal stateside judge might LET THEM GO. Re. the "blight" - thats due solely to anti-Bush and anti-American propaganda. Its a shame to give propagandists a victory and let enemy propaganda drive our policy. They'll just turn to propaganda against our stateside prisons.

What's wrong with putting these Al Qaeda agents in Federal Supermax prisons? How is a Federal Supermax any different than the MILITARY (it's federal, right?) Supermax at Guantanamo?? Have you been watching "Locked up Abroad" on Nat Geographic channel? channel.nationalgeographic.com Gitmo is a country club compared to those places. And since when do we lock up people who have declared war against the US in a Federal Prison? Bin Laden declared war against the US back in 1996 and his followers/fighters are illegal combatants. They are only illegal because they don't represent a sovereign state, except the one in their visions.. the Caliphate.
