when you get your talking points from the DNC I stopped getting all bent out of shape about what I read and heard in the media a long time ago. I always confirm by going to the source - what did she/he actually say? - or checking other sources. Often the story is incomplete, slanted or wrong. The people in media are frequently lazy or pushing an agenda or narrative. That goes for bloggers and other Internet writers too of course but at least they are more honest about having an agenda or POV, they don't pretend to be "impartial".
