It is a bit frustrating to me to watch the Ds bork every nominee, while the Rs consistently say, "Well, the President gets his choice".

We knew Obama would go for activism -- after all, he opposed Roberts who was probably the most qualified candidate since Bork. Obama was elected based on the ignorance of the American People when it comes to court appointees.

Ultimately, nobody can stop her from getting on the Court. But is this not a time when the Rs can use the committee as a forum to explain to the dolts who voted for Obama just how important Court selections are?

Getting Biden and Specter off the committee can't hurt. But people just don't understand how important these choices are. This woman is obviously "competent", but apparently will be coming to the Court with an agenda. The Supreme Court is not the place for a person like this.
