But that doesn't mean I have no limits. Mine just happen to be a lot higher than others, such as a former coworker who was forced to transfer to Arizona because of reasons you can probably guess. And if this state continues to pretend it has revenue problems, Oregon is going to look attractive again. And not just to me, either.

I understand. Each person has to decide what their limits are. I had lived long enough in CA to see the quality of life decline. That prompted me to move. Remember I went through riots, a serious recession/depression and a major earthquake. Plus, I was in LA, not the OC.

By the way, if you don't like the "Californication" of the Pacific Northwest, you too will be advocating for our state to clean up its act. Repeal Prop. 13 and I guarantee you that you won't like the unintended consequences. Even Wharf Rat would probably flee this sinking ship if that happened.

Tell me about it...why do you think I am worried that I didn't move far enough away? If CA goes under, it will sink the entire West coast.

Sheeeeeittt..I would be so happy. Get us back down to 6 mil, like when I was a kid. Like I said, I'd vote against it today, just like I did years ago. I'm very conservative.
