The market trouble is not confined to Hong Kong. It is already in Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, and the Philipines.

The market crash has profound effects on the economies. The properties will be affected. The banks will be affected because they made loans based on properties. The manufactureres will have difficulties running the business. Question is will the recession affect the US economy to the point that the US will also be in recession? Seems to me US economy is the remaining bright spot world wide.
