I agree, and all commodities s/b avoided. Worst thing that could happen now is for various gov'ts to try to prop up their respective currencies via rate hikes. The battle of the bourses could really have a dire effect on global stock markets...bonds will be short term winners but good stock selection now will pan out. Just my opinion...

Hi John, I was aware of the Swiss sale and drop in gold prices but I've seen gold used as a hedge for more than inflationary pressure..
However, your point is well taken and probably accounts for the decline in gold stocks.
Other than bonds, what areas are you looking at for returns?
