Geopolitical events have a tremendous effect on investments - whether that investment be gold, stocks or even 'our rights' to political, civil & religious freedoms. That is why many posters, like myself, and others of varied ideologies, congregate here. We want a view from the 'Dugout' of what is going on behind the scenes socio-politically that is affecting our lives and our future stake and 'investment' in this here world in these turbulent times. It doesn't matter if our beliefs differ from one another - we come here for insights that will affect our lives and investments - even if that means touching on differing moral and religious beliefs while in the process. I am a religious believing person who belongs to the Catholic Church - but I am perfectly fine with Atheists and any other beliefs on this thread - the varied points of view are healthy IMHO. P.S. My next post will be a geopolitical insight from a Catholic Organization. Please, no need to debate religion - believe what you will - but there are some issues of great importance regarding socio-political freedoms - something that we all have an investment in. <t&tpal>
