Not likely. Americans understand the danger. I think there is more fear among the GOP that liberals are soft on terror, but that is generally not the case. It's just that liberals have a different approach to how to solve the terrorist problem. But letting known bad guys go is not high on their list of things to do. I don't know many liberals, but the couple that I do know want the folks in Guantanamo locked up forever. I do too. Supermax until the end of their life is what I want to see happen. I'd say keep them in Guantanamo, but that place now has a taint that is really damaging to our national image. We need to close it down.
