Ted, even as liberals gain more power, guys like Alghieri still can't defend their own positions against challenges from the conservative opposition. That's why he has to keep repeating the fantasy that the more conservatives speak out, the more they help liberals.

He still hasn't been able to accept the results of a poll saying that most Americans fear the government is trying to do too much to rescue the economy.
