That's the way politics works in Illinois. An aide to a former Governor once told me that his job was to reward the Gov's friends, and punish his enemies.

Being Rahmed is the same as being Roved. We had hoped that the system would change, not just the beneficiaries and victims of government.

John Daley would be proud. Chicago at it's finest.

The public was not supposed to have figured this out at all, much less this quickly.

This administration is truly incompetent to have their corruption uncovered so quickly/easily.

I think it would speak volumes if the list of dealerships which will remain open are examined,

e.g. if they reveal a substantial number contributing to Obama, then statistically, it's extremely unlikely the closed dealership being nearly 100% GOP or rival is a statistical anomaly. In other words, it would likely prove the political bias. Yeah, that would be bad -- for America.

and if they reveal that nearly all the dealerships simply are GOP supporters, then it could reveal what we all expected: that the gov't is incompetent in running the auto business. Surprise!!

Either way, we are the losers. And those dealerships and all their employees and their communities of course.
