Thanks for the comments, MJ.

That's how I feel about it.

The MSM, which includes the NYT, is the biggest enemy of this country in my opinion. It failed miserably during the campaign and has continued as an extension of Obama's PR forces since he took office.

As a consequence of the MSM's abysmal failure and the mendacity of Obama and his henchmen, the general public has yet to fully understand what Obama is about and what he is doing to this country, particularly with respect to economic issues.

The MSM has been carefully delineating the death of the Republican party and has been actively embracing those, like Colin Powell, who profess a belief that the party must become more *moderate.*

I don't know about anyone else, but, once I've been betrayed as the MSM betrayed the public during the campaign, I am not willing to give the betrayer a second bite at the apple.

Ergo, the MSM's press for moderation tells me that they're afraid of a return to serious conservative principles, particularly in the fiscal arena.

Which means, forget this so-called *moderation* crap. It means nothing and stands for nothing.

Principles must be articulated and not necessarily categorized. The tent is big enough for many POV's along the spectrum, but we shouldn't be pushed into becoming Democrats Light just so that the real Dems can stay in power.

Which is their plan, in case no one noticed.
